  • heritage

Preserving India’s heritage is not just our policy, it is a part of our very being.

Grand Palaces, ancient relics, vintage artefacts, living traditions. India has them all and as a hotel with a big heart and an even bigger conscience, we safeguard everything we touch on our journey to offer guests the refined luxury of heritage, effortless service, world-class amenities and local flavour.

We aren’t just inventors of heritage tourism, we’re the custodians and we like to keep it this way. explore more

  • Weaving futures with iconic uniforms to defend our customs.

From little hamlets and weaving communities in Benaras and Pochampally, our exquisite saris arrive to greet the world across all our hotels with their beautiful patterns, Ikat style of dyeing and regal colours. We wish to provide our guests with a glimpse of India’s art and heritage as saris are draped around the very fabric of India.

We also go to great lengths to care for the master craftsmen and undiscovered artisans who work night and day to bring our uniforms alive.

culture

Ours is a culture that cares for its people.

Even before labour laws and welfare policies were designed our forefathers and holding companies had already begun giving back to local cultures and communities.

We believe in investing towards a better tomorrow by contributing to communities in which we operate. We also care for the health and education of all our people.

  • We put people and local cultures first. Always.

Volunteering is woven into the Taj culture and more than 7,000 of our associates make time each year for mentoring, guiding and shaping neighbourhoods, cultures and communities through a host of events and initiatives. The Tata Volunteering Week also drives what we do as a Taj family.
